Chapter 1 - Old friends

"Get her!"

You ran past the many stonebuildings. You ran through the small crowd, careful not to hurt anybody. Why were you running? It was because your secret was discovered, and you didn't know how it happened.

- Flashback of the day -

You sat under the oak tree, the sun gently touching your feet, as the tree shadowed your head. It had been a nice day in a long time in the small town you lived in, or rather lived near. You didn't live in the city, and rarely went there, because what wouldn't people think if they saw the same person over and over again, but she was barely ageing? That's why you didn't show yourself that often.

The breeze gently blew your hair behind your ears. You closed your eyes, enjoying the nature around you. You were the last one of the (s/n) Clan, or that's what you guessed since you didn't know where your brother where. You hoped he was still out there somewhere, living a happy life.

You sighed, as a small bird flew down on your shoulder. It was a cute small, almost round, little yellow bird. You had named it after a friend your past, Gilbert, even though you changed it a little, and the bird was named Gilbird

"Are you all right, (y/n)?" Gilbird asked you, curious and concerned at the same time. Your clan, the (s/n) Clan and the Prietenie Clan were the only clans that could talk with animals, of what you knew of.

"I'm fine, Gilbird, I'm just thinking of my brother, you know, (b/n)," You said, you voice sad, but still filled with love.

"Yeah I remember him, even though I was nothing but a newborn at that time," Gilbird answered you.

"Yeah, both of you were so cute when you were small," you said, as you smiled at your small Soul Animal. That was a special animal for every witch or wizard. everyone got one the day they turned 18, and their lifespan got longer. You had gotten Gilbird, the most adorably little chick you had ever seen in your life, and your brother had loved Gilbird too, which made you even more happier.

"I can't believe it was so long ago.." You muttered.

"Yeah," Gilbird agreed.

The two of you just sat there, chit-chatting a little from time to time, as the now orange sun began to disappear behind the clouds and trees.

"I think it's about we get something to eat, right, Gilbird?" You looked at your bird.

"Yeah, I'm hungry!" Gilbird chipped. You patted him on the head with you index finger as you walked home. You lived in a cottage, that was placed in the woods. You didn't like the old home where the (s/n) Clan once resided, it game you unpleasant nightmares.

You opened the door, and walked into the familiar scent of herbs and flowers that were in your house. It was always nice to come home, even though you and Gilbird were the only ones that there, then it was a nice and warm home to come to, that's what you thought.

You walked into your small kitchen, and began to fire up in the stove, as you put some more woods in, to get it extra warm, so you had a lot of embers later, that you could use to bake a bread on. You found a pot and asked Gilbird to put water in it. Surprisingly, Gilbird was really strong, even though he barely had the size of your clenched fist.

As Gilbird got water in the pot, you began to choop different kinds of vegetables, you didn't eat meat at all. There was carrots, sesame seeds, leeks, a tomato, chives, normal onions and garlic in the soup you were going to make.

When Gilbird came back, the pot was filled up good with water. You took the pot, and placed it so you could just shove the ingredients in the pot, without splashing too much water. You put some sallt and peber, and some thyme to give it a little more. You then put a lid on the pot, and placed it on your stone stove, as it slowly began to boil.

After eating the yummy soupp, you put dropped the idea about the bread, because you were tired. So you put ashes over the embers so that it was easier to fire up tomorrow. You then packed the soup in some bowls with scarfs around so that the heat didn't escape.

After it was all done, you walked into your bedroom which contained a good two-persons bed, a desk and a chair to sit on. There was also a closet, and a window. You undressed, and changed into a nightgown, and laid down in your bed. Your heard wings flap one second, then the next the was a quiet snore from your little bird friend. Soon you also feel asleep.

You woke up to the sound of someone banging on your door, screaming something you hadn't heard anyone call you in a long time.

"Come out here, Witch!" It was a mans voice, thick, deep and strong. You quickly woke up Gilbird, and found a cloth where you could have some bowls, a spoon and some clothes in. You quickly packed some clothes, and went straight for your kitchen where you took some bowls with soup, placed them in the cloth, carefully, as you took a spoon too.

You then tip toed to your backdoor, where everything was completely black. There had been light at your front door, and the obviously didn''t know you had one in the back. You tip toed outside, and when you thought you could just walk away, you heard a snap under your feet, and you cursed.

That's where the hunt began, and you were now officially on the run, away from the towns people.

- Flashback, end -

You ran to the left, which you probably shouldn't have done, because now you ran to a dead end, the towns people right behind you. You tried to see if you could climb the wall, but it was not easy with the cloth, so you had to decide.

Food and clothes, or survive out of town?

You picked the most obvious as you dropped the cloth, but you still took a dress from the cloth, so you had something else but the nightgown to wear. You then crawled up the wall, and ran on people roofs, without them knowing of course.

As you ran, the wind began to get harder, and you could feel it would soon rain, so you hurried all you could off of the roofs, quickly hiding in the forest.

When you finally found a save place to hide in, you were a little confused, because the thing you were hiding in, was a house. You looked around in the house, seeing different kinds of bottles with names on.

When you had had a good look around, you were confused even more. Why was there stuff that mostly wizards used, and why hadn't they been found yet. Well your house were just recently spotted, so it did make sense.

You heard something rustle from upstairs, and you stopped dead in your tracks. You slowly turned around, and saw a small silhouette of light. So there was someone here.

You backed away from the light, to what you thought were the living room because of the sofas, the coffeetable and the fireplace. You would try to hide on the couch somehow, but when you sat on it, it wasn't cotton as you thought.

It was a person, and you immediately woke the up, and alarmed them.

You were quickly pinned down into the sofa, a hand pressing against your throat, making it difficult to breathe. When you tried to look up, your eyes met something you hadn't seen since.. Gilbert or..

"Vladimir?" You asked out in the blue. This seemed to shock the person. He clicked with his fingers, as candles in the room lit up, so that he could see you. And now you were sure it was Vlad, as you called when you were younger.

His strawberry blonde hair were still a good match for his red eyes. He still wore the red overcoat you had seen him in the last time you met him, a few hundred years ago. And he seemed to still have those fangs that everyone in the Prietenie Clan had. Vladimir seemed surprised when he realised who you were.

"(y-y/n)?" He asked, still not believing his eyes. You smiled at the vampire. Yeah that's right, he was a vampire, everyone in the Prietenie Clan were, nobody knew why though.

"That's me, Vlad," You said, your voice kind and a bit motherly, you were always like that around Vladimir.

"(Y/N)!" Vladimir hugged you as he shouted your name, but your little moment were soon ruined by a cold voice.

"Vladimir, what's all the ruckus about?" You turned your head, only for your (e/c) eyes to meet cold and emotionless blue eyes.

"Oh, Lukas, did we wake you?" Vladimir asked rather stupid.

"Yes you did," He looked at you, sending a chill down your spine. "Who's she?" He asked.

"This is (y/n)," Vladimir responded bluntly. "(y/n) (s/n)."

"(s/n), as in the long gone (s/n) Clan?" Lukas asked, obviously not thinking Vlad spoke the truth.

"Yeah."

"That can't be, everyone from the (s/n) Clan is dead," Lukas said.

"Well, seems like there's still one alive," Vladimir smiled at you, and you smiled back at him, before looking at Lukas, as Vladimir called him.

"I'm (y/n), the last survivor of the (s/n) Clan," You reached out your hand to Lukas, but he didn't take it.

"I don't believe you," And you believed he was one hundred percent honest about that. "But if you are.." He walked over to something that looked like a bowl with water, but you could sense a Soul Animal in it.

You walked over to the bowl.

"If you understand what my fish, András, then I'll believe you, and I know what he says because he's my Soul Animal," Lukas pointed out.

"Yeah, yeah." You looked at the bowl, as you began to speak.

"András, are you in there?" You asked the bowl. And soon there came fish into your vision.

"Who're you?" The fish, or András, asked.

"I'm (y/n), nice to meet you, András."

The fish didn't reply to you, but looked at Lukas instead.

"She is not a vampire, like Vladimir, that's easy to see, so she has to be from the (s/n) Clan," András said to Lukas.

Lukas nodded, and looked at you.

"All right, I believe you now, but I still have one question in my mind."

"What is it?"

"How did you find this house?" Lukas asked you.

"I actually don't know myself, maybe your seal is getting weaker, i don't know.." You said, looking away from Lukas' scary eyes. Even though he looked nice with his almost Platinium blonde hair, then he was extremely scary because of his cold-hearted eyes.

"Well, if that's it, then I'm leaving you to Vladimir," Lukas said, totally uninterested in the answer you had just given him. But you were sure he was just tired, and didn't want to bother about it now.

When you turned around, you Vladimir already deep asleep, he looked so human and cute when he slept, it  somehow reminded you of Gilbert, you didn't know why.

Wait, Gilbert.. Gilbird!

You ran to the door, and shouted in the air.

"Gilbird!" And soon you felt the small weight of your bird on your shoulder.

"Never disappear like that again, (y/n), I was scared they would shoot me or something!" He complained.

"Yeah, yeah, but you're all right, right?" You patted him with your finger. "So why don't we get inside, and get some sleep, huh?"

Gilbird let out something like a yawn, as approval.

"Well then, good night," You said as you walked inside, and flopped down on the sofa, falling into a dreamless sleep.
OH GARD SERIOUSLY. I wrote this totally random idea in two hours because I was fucking bored.. And then it ended up a new series. *sigh*

I'm not sure what to start with in the 3rd chapter of Our world, so yeah..

I hope you will enjoy this other series though! I know the first chapter was long and shit, but bear with it, I'll probably make the next one shorter...

Even though it's only 7:13 p.m. then I feel completely dead, and tired...

So I'm gonna play something, lol. Or see some CSI. heheh..

Yeah.. Farvel/Bye/Ciao/Arrivederci/Goodbye and so on..

EDIT

When I looked for a surname for Vlad/Romania, then I actually didn't know what to call him, but then I thought that Vlad were friendly, and kind, to those he liked, so his surname came to be " Prietenie " and if it's translated right, then it means " Friendship " ^^

I also wanted a good name for Lukas' fish, something I thought were a little like him, then I found the name " András " which mean " Brave " and I thought it was the perfect name for the fish. Why? I don't know..
